Prize Structure and Other Regulations

1. Prize

2. Race Monitoring

– Athletes who leave the race will not be allowed to return for any purpose. Athletes who intentionally shorten the race and “take shortcuts” will be disqualified from the race. Cheating acts are documented by track referees, Organizing Committee members and video security equipment.

– Athletes of 1km and 3km distances who participate in the race without the event’s official BIB number, without a timing device or with a timing device that is not their own will be disqualified and eliminated from the race following races of the Organizing Committee.

– Athletes are not allowed to receive any assistance through wheeled or motorized transportation while in competition conditions. Except for athletes with disabilities with the permission of the Organizing Committee.

– AAthletes are not allowed to bring animals, explosives, flammable substances, compressed gases, toxic substances and anything that can cause danger or inconvenience to others onto the racetrack.

3. Competition Results

– Competition results will be recorded by a timing device mounted on the BIB. Counting starts when the athlete crosses the starting line and stops when they cross the finish line.

– Finish Time (Chip Time) will be used for ranking and awarding. Finish Time (Chip Time) is understood as the time elapsed from the moment the athlete crosses the starting line (when the chip is activated) until the athlete crosses the finish line, following the timing system of the organizing committee.

– An athlete may not be recognized as a finisher if:

  • Discovered wearing more than 2 timing devices.
  • The athlete’s finishing time exceeds the Cut-off time.
  • Unusual absence on the race course confirmed by officials and evidence from recording devices.

– Official results will be announced on the event’s website by the organizing committee. Athletes have the right to file complaints, and request a review of their own or another athlete’s competition results, along with clear evidence. Complaints must be submitted to the organizing committee before November 21, 2024.

– The prize will be officially announced by the organizers on the day of the competition. All complaints about the results of the First, Second, and Third prizes for all distances must be made before 9:00 a.m. on April 14, 2024.

– Athletes are responsible for adhering to the regulations and instructions of the organizing committee on the race course to ensure accurate results.

– The decision of the Organizing Committee is final.

4. Disciplinary Measures:

– Violations will be handled according to Decree 158/2013/NĐ-CP dated November 12, 2013, by the Government on the sanctioning of administrative violations in the fields of culture, sports, tourism, and advertising.

5. Force Majeure:

– The organizing committee is not responsible in case the race is canceled or postponed due to force majeure.

– The organizing committee has the right to make rule changes, and amend competition regulations, and will communicate these changes to athletes through written notices, emails, or on-site announcements before the race.

-The organizing committee has full rights to use the information provided by participants, as well as images and videos depicting participants’ activities for legal purposes in media, advertising, exhibitions, etc., to promote the event and the organizing unit.
